Through our Community Development initiatives, we work alongside language communities to identify and respond to their most pressing needs, ensuring that transformation is both spiritual and practical.
Self-reliance and Sustainability
While our primary mission is Bible translation and literacy, we recognize that people flourish when their physical and social needs are also met. In some communities, this has meant facilitating access to clean water, improving agricultural practices, or supporting skills and leadership development. Each intervention is community-driven, designed to build self-reliance and sustainability.
Our approach is participatory
We listen, learn, and collaborate with local leaders to create solutions that align with their values and priorities. Whether through improved livelihoods, better health, or strengthened community structures, CABTAL’s community development work helps ensure that every translated word is accompanied by tangible hope and lasting change.
